Hurricane Matthew Emergency Prayer

Creator God at times we are humbled by the power of your creation that can cause destruction and loss of the very life that you give us.

We hold in prayer and hope, those in the path of hurricane Matthew from the Bahamas to Cuba to Florida and its path ahead. May they find shelter in the midst of storm and may those of us far away share the resources and compassion needed to assist those affected.

Fill those in the storms future path with your wisdom and caution.

As always help us to cherish and protect the life and resources that you have given us and inspire the unaffected to reach out in compassion to those affected.

If you would like to make a donation to the hurricane relief efforts, both Catholic Charities and Food for the Poor are fully engaged in providing food, shelter and meeting other needs of those effected by the hurricane. Be sure to note your donation is for Hurricane Matthew relief. Thank you for your compassion and generosity.
